As the Texas Provider law firm designated under your contract with LegalShield®, we would like to welcome you. When you have a legal problem, we hope that you will use your plan benefits to the fullest.
In order to enable us to better serve your legal needs we offer information concerning how your LegalShield® contract works in certain areas. We suggest that you refer to each of the coverage pages in the event you have a question about your legal services.
Review your LegalShield® Plan and understand the benefits it provides. The information on this website is intended to help you understand your benefits; however, the actual contract establishes and governs the benefits to which you are entitled. If you have questions about coverage call LegalShield®, Customer Service Department at 1-800-654-7757.
It is important to call us as soon as possible after you realize you have a legal problem. If you wait until the last minute, your call may be too late for us to be of full service to you. We need as much time as possible to work on a resolution to your problem.
When you call, one of our representatives will verify your membership information and will request information concerning the nature of your legal problem. These representatives are employees of the firm. Any information you provide them is confidential and fully protected by the attorney/client privilege.
The representative will immediately assign your call to the next available attorney. As a general rule, an attorney will attempt a call back within four (4) working hours. Under certain circumstances, we will arrange for an appointment at a specific time to call you back (even after hours if we have been unable to reach you during normal business hours). In order to provide you with the best possible legal advice, we cannot connect you directly to a specific attorney, but rather the most appropriate attorney to help with your issue will call as soon as they become available.
In many instances you will be entitled to a free letter. Before we can send a letter on your behalf, you must complete a General Authorization Letter and send it to us (or a Collection Authorization Letter for a collection letter.)
It is extremely important to be organized with your facts before you call. Please do not send us original documents. You may need those originals. We recommend sending documents through our secure portal found at the bottom of the prior page (send documents area). You may also send documents via fax. Faxed documents should be sent to:
Traffic Tickets Fax: 817-255-2080
All Other Faxed Documents: 817-255-2090
The fax lines are operated twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week.
Mailed documents should be sent to: 3650 Lovell Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76107
When you call us, please use the specially reserved LegalShield® phone lines for faster service.
Fort Worth: 817-255-2096
Toll Free: 1-800-458-6982
These phone numbers are specially staffed to provide you with fast service. Although the firm has other lines which may show up on your caller ID, those lines are used for outgoing calls only, and are not answered through our LegalShield® switchboard system. For fast and efficient service, we recommend that you always call the LegalShield® numbers shown above.
Many matters involve certain common questions on which we have prepared easy-to-understand information. We recommend that you read these pages before calling us. When you have any legal problem, please contact us for assistance. We look forward to serving you as members of a LegalShield contract, which we believe to be the finest legal protection plan in existence.
