An integral part of Ross & Matthews since 1995, when the Texas membership base was 25,000, Debra Barrett developed systems and procedures to expand the firm’s capacity to efficiently handle the current membership of over 130,000, making Ross & Matthews a leader in the LegalShield family of provider firms. Debra received the inaugural LegalShield “Administrator of the Year” award in1999. Her wide experience prior to Ross & Matthews as an owner of businesses in retail and aviation industries, as well as her office manager position at the Burlington Northern Railroad Employee Assistance Program, has served Debra well during her time at Ross & Matthews. She knows the value of innovation – and the importance of protecting the bottom line – all while stressing compassion as an indispensable business characteristic. She is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the firm. As an occasional presenter at LegalShield conferences, Debra has contributed significantly to the evolution of cutting-edge processes and best practices. If Debra is not at her desk, she is probably at an airport – an avid traveler, she has visited 25 countries (and counting) to date.
