Online Credit Protection
Over 96% of Americans make online purchases. Your credit card information may be compromised as a result. A new layer of protection is available for your credit cards if you are shopping online: A Virtual Credit Card.
A Virtual Credit Card is linked to your existing credit card, however, there is no physical card. The virtual number is used to make purchases online with added security. For example, if the virtual credit card was compromised, the person with that number could not go over the balance that you have previously set. Furthermore, some cards are good only for a one-time purchase or for a particular retailer and cannot be used to purchase anything else.
