The visionary behind the Texas LegalShield provider firm, Lynn quickly recognized the potential to help an underserved market and formed the firm of Ross & Matthews to be the sole provider of LegalShield (formerly PrePaid Legal) benefit in the state of Texas. From the early beginnings with 3 lawyers and 3 staff to the still growing firm of over 90 contract attorneys and more than 80 staff- his vision has proven true. His dedication to customer service and continuous improvement inspires the entire team to strive for better and better service to our members.

Lynn Ross was born in Laredo, Texas and admitted to Texas Bar in 1969. He attended Texas Christian University (B.B.A., 1966); Southern Methodist University (J.D., 1969) Delta Theta Phi. He was a trial Attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice, Tax Division in Washington D.C. from 1969 – 1972. He is a current member of the State Bar of Texas. (Board Certified, Tax Law, Texas Board of Legal Specialization) and the Tarrant County Bar Association. Lynn played football for TCU and continues to be a huge fan and supporter of the team- if he’s not in the office or at a TCU game, you will find him enjoying his four grandchildren.
